Heating test
Our fireproof safes have been exposed to over 1010oC in an airtight gas furnace for one hour
Dropping test
Immediately after the heating test the red hot safe was lifted up and dropped from a height of 4 metres.
Test objective
These tests simulated the most severe case of a house fire with the situation of the safe falling through the floor and being subjected to another round of heat after the impact of the fall.
Test results
Besides the melting of some of the metal fittings on the exterior door which had low melting points, the interior of the safe remained intact. The temperature inside was below 160oC and the paper was not even discoloured.
